Our Wedding

The way we met isnt the most exciting....on a dating app. But that is about the least exciting part of our story. The first date was supposed to be a casual "get to know you" dinner but the day before, Nate called an audible, and asked Bridget if he could "take her to a Phillies game." What he didn't tell her is they were going to be in a suite with work colleagues. Nate took Bridget to a work event for their first date (and didn't tell anyone it was a first date). We had to answer a few times "1 date" in response to being asked how long we had been together. He took a chance by asking her and it worked because we laughed the entire time and knew right away that we wanted to see each again. The second date was...a casual dinner (possibly tacos). Nate made it clear on date #2 that the bar was not set at Phillies suite tickets for date expectations and the funny thing is, we still laughed and learned more about each other and again...couldn't wait to see one another again! Nate met the Kelley family (learned 40 names in 1 night and remembered 3 of them the next morning) and Bridget went to Lancaster to meet the Hartman crew. She was slightly disappointed to learn that not everyone in Lancaster is Amish. Friends became our mutual friend but Bridget had to pass one final Nate Approval Test: does Parker like you? He is a softy who caved immediately to her and hasn't left her side since. We mentioned before we couldn't wait to be with each other after each date...well hello Covid Pandemic. With Bridget, as a nurse during these times, Nate (and Parker) began to spend most of their time in Fairmount with Bridget. The Pandemic challenged and grew our relationship and that is where we fell in love. We made it out of the pandemic and joined society again at Philadelphia sporting events, concerts, restaurants, and enjoyed the city of Philadelphia or down in Avalon, NJ. In 2022, we got the best news in the world that Bridget was pregnant with a baby boy. Maybe in the immediate moment, life wasn't very clear but something became clear to Nate... he needs this pretty blonde Irish girl to be in his life forever. In October 2022, we had our baby announcement photos on the Philadelphia Art Muesum steps. Nate decided to turn baby photos into engagement photos by proposing on the steps....in a Birds jersey. Just how he drew it up. No need for engagement photos because he planned to do both at the same time, similar to the first date (work event and first date...combined!) They were immediately surrounded by family and friends who were waiting at the bottom of the steps to celebrate! On March 29, 2023, Cameron Christopher Hartman was born (10 days after we purchased our 1st House) and our relationship and lives were changed forever. We are our own little family in Glenside, PA who can't wait to celebrate our story on our big day with you! Thanks for reading along. Cheers and Go Birds!

Our Story

Bridget's older sister. Proud Mom of Finn. Cait is the best big Sister and has a heart of gold. Bridget and her give a new meaning to goofy when they start laughing like sisters. Bridget is so proud that Cait is her big sister and standing next to her on the big day! Cait has treated Nate like family and is grateful for ear plugs at the shore house some nights after he has a few cold ones and doesnt sleep quietly! 

Caitlin Kelley

Bridget's Sister-in-Law. Wife of Colin. Proud Mother of Vivienne and Murphy. The in-law title is just a technicality because Bridget thinks of Carly as a sister! Bridget and her love sharing "New Mom" stories and Carly has been so kind to her since the day they met. Carly and Nate enjoy asking each other"have you ever seen anything like the Kelley family?". The answer is usually "No" followed by a laugh and agreeing they are happy to be apart of it! 

Carly Kelley

Nate's younger sister. Proud Mom of Penny. Cameron's Godmother. Kate treats Bridget like the sister she never had and Bridget is so thankful for welcoming her with open arms since they first met. They love their nights chatting over a bottle of wine. Nate is a true big brother and although he "picks on her" sometimes, he is so proud of the person she has become and thankful she didn't tell on him to much growing up! 

Kate Hartman

Bridget's College Roommate. Fiancée of Nick. Bridget and Lisa have been great friends for over 15 years. Their stories start at West Chester University but continue to this day. When they arent being goofy, they can be found shopping or trying a new restaurant in Philadelphia! Nate has always enjoyed being around Lisa and knows she visits them to hang with him and not Bridget. She brings out the fun in both of them! 

Lisa Ginter

Bridget's Cousin. Mother of Murphy. Bridget feels really lucky to have gotten close to Caroline and they are former Fairmount neighbors! Parker loves Caroline and all the great things she makes him! Nate misses his favorite mornings when Caroline and Murphy would visit Parker and him on the Art Museum steps. Caroline, Nate & Bridget had alot of great times that usually started at the Dog Park! 

Caroline Kelley

Bridget's cousin. Twin Sister to Kyle. Bridget has always looked at Catherine as a little sister instead of a cousin. She has loved watching her grew up to be an amazing person. Bridget, Cait and Catherine can be found giggling about stories at a family party when she is home from West Virginia University. Nate has enjoyed getting to know Catherine and looks forward to seeing where her bright future takes her!

Catherine Sablich

Nate has known Taylor for 20 years and they have endless stories to prove it. T and Nate met at Albright College and are former roommates atleast 4 different times over the years. They are usually found competing against each other on the golf course or discussing sneakers they want but don't need. Taylor treats Bridget like a younger sister and is Bridget's primary resource for a good show recommendation. 

Taylor Steltz

Brother of Parker. He hasn't been around long but has made our lives better than we could have ever imagined. He is learning new things every day and is a big fan of trucks, dinosaurs, playgrounds and popsicles. Nate likes to think he is his favorite but Cam is and probably always will be a Mama's boy. We are so happy he is apart of our big day! 

Cameron Hartman 

Bridget's younger brother. Husband to Carly and proud Dad of Vivienne and Murphy. Colin has always treated Nate like family, except on the golf course and saw first hand why Nate can't sit in the middle seat in the car. Bridget and Colin are more alike than they like to admit but they are extremely close and are often known as being the chefs in the family. 

Colin Kelley

Bridget's older brother. Husband to Jenn Kelley, proud Dad of Harper and Cameron's Godfather. Kevin and Nate can be found early in the morning at the Avalon playgrounds half asleep and chatting about Philly sports. Kevin is a true older brother. He always cares about (and picks on) Bridget. He has a heart of gold with some of the funniest one-liners in the game. 

Kevin Kelley

Husband to Britney and proud Dad of Albert IV, Peyton and Chase. Albert and Nate are like brothers. They have known each other for over 20 years and met at Albright College. Bert has always been good to Nate even though he made Nate sneak over a steap hill with a broken foot the first time they met to avoid security. Bert treats Bridget like a sister and almost convinced her to name our son after Lane Johnson. 

Albert Medoro

Husband of Meg and proud Dad of Chris, Zander and Patch. Nate and Pete met 10 years ago in Roxborough. They can be found usually out on the porch chatting about music, sports and life or trying to make Taylor mad on the golf course. Pete has made Bridget feel apart of the crew since day 1 and Bridget thinks he actually visits to hang with her instead of Nate. 

Pete Adams

Husband of Jess and proud Dad of Jadyn, Jael and Jazielle. Nate is Jazielle's Godfather. Nate has always looked at Rel as a Big Brother since meeting at Albright College. They have argued and laughed like brothers for 20 years. They can be found discussing Eagles gameday strategy every Sunday in the fall. Bridget has always loved the times she spends with the Gallmans but will never cook pizza for them again. 

Jarel Gallman

Parker and Nate have been Best Friends for 7 years but he became a Mama's boy for 6.of those years. He is loyal to our family and a great big brother to Cam. He is usually found lightly snoring somewhere around the house, laying across your lap, out on the sidewalks in Fairmount and Glenside or at his favorite place on earth: the dog park.
